Course Description
- This in person training prepares SSN teachers and School Assessment Coordinators (SACs) to confidently and effectively administer the CoAlt assessment in alignment with Colorado Department of Education requirements. Participants will receive guidance on the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) system, assessment administration procedures, student rostering, accommodations, assessment security, and testing preparation. SACs will also receive training on oversight responsibilities, compliance requirements, scheduling, and support procedures for school based CoAlt administration. The training provides essential resources, hands on practice, and collaborative support to ensure accurate and compliant CoAlt administration.

Course Outcomes
By the end of this training, participants will:
- Understand the structure and purpose of the CoAlt assessment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) system and required training modules.
- Gain familiarity with CoAlt administration procedures, including student rostering, First Contact Survey, and Personal Needs and Preferences (PNP) Profile setup.
- Learn procedures for administering CoAlt Science assessments and handling supported performance tasks.
- Review best practices for scheduling, accommodations, and maintaining assessment security in compliance with CDE guidelines.
