Course Description
- This course prepares School Assessment Coordinators (SACs) to confidently and effectively manage school based assessment responsibilities aligned with both building and district initiatives. Participants will receive essential training, resources, and collaborative support to ensure accurate assessment administration, meaningful data use, compliance with state and district requirements, and effective staff training practices.

Outcomes
By the end of this professional learning experience, participants will:
- Understand assessment windows, tasks, and deadlines for all mandated assessments.
- Learn how to access and use secure platforms (PearsonAccessnext, DRC INSIGHT, WIDA AMS, etc.).
- Apply state guidance to determine accommodations and appropriate student participation.
- Develop a building-level training plan for teachers and support staff.
- Practice troubleshooting common technology and logistics issues.
