Course Description

  • This course will focus on building upon the continued work of the Crisis Prevention Institute's modules on Classroom Culture.  Participants will identify assets-based language, building sustainable relationships, explore tier 1 & 2 academic and social behaviors, set expectations and building confidence in the classroom.

  • Utilize the "Mirror Check" to shift from student-blame to teacher accountability by focusing on Rational Detachment, a 4:1 positive-to-corrective ratio, and clear expectations to influence culture and engagement.
