Course Description

• This course is designed for educators and support staff seeking practical, actionable strategies to enhance the inclusion, success, and independence of students in Significant Support Needs (SSN) programs across all educational environments. Participants will explore the foundational concept of the "Dignity of Risk"—the vital understanding that allowing students the space to try, fail, and problem-solve builds self-confidence, responsibility, and essential life skills. The course shifts the focus away from adult dependency and provides concrete methods to safely "step back," allowing students to actively engage with their environment and their peers.
