Course Description

  • Welcome to CoAlt State-Mandated Assessment Compliance 2023-2024.  This course is for Test Administrators who deliver the Alternate Assessments for DCSD's cognitively impaired students.  In this course you will be introduced to your District Assessment Coordinator and the Team Lead for Significant Support Needs Program.  You will learn information, timelines, and training to make for a successful alternate testing season.  Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, there will be a total of 3 modules to complete this mandatory training. Training modules and content will be available on the designated dates of each month and must be completed within the one-week timeline.

  • Understand your role and responsibilities as CoAlt Test Administrator with DCSD and the Colorado Department of Education policy and procedures.  
  • Prepare students and allow for practice opportunities prior to testing.
  • Prepare and administer CoAlt State-Mandated Assessments.
