Full course description
Course Description
- Join us for a 2-hour in-person workshop designed for 3rd–8th grade science educators, where we’ll explore the connection between sensemaking and phenomena. We will engage in the Anchoring Phenomenon Routine (APR) to examine how it supports sensemaking for all students. Then, using the Whale Fall task, we’ll investigate how phenomena can drive deep, equitable learning. Walk away with practical strategies and a renewed vision for science instruction that is both meaningful and inclusive.
