DCSD Charter Schools Opting into Kindergarten Additional Screening for Reading Risk Follow-up Data Analysis March 24, 2026 AM Session

Course Description

• Kindergarten Teachers will bring their data for the screeners given. Kindergarten Teachers will have the opportunity to analyze their data and look for students that are at risk on each of the screeners. Kindergarten Teachers will have the opportunity to determine what next steps are appropriate for continued Tier 1 instruction and intense intervention for students that are at risk. Kindergarten Teachers will have talking points to share with families for students in their class following the screeners that were given, the results and the plan for next steps for their students.
