Course Description

  • Join us at the Cherokee Ranch for an educational hike through time.  Visit our petrified forest and explore how scientists reconstruct the past using fossils and artifacts.  Meet at the historic Blunt homestead near Sedalia.

    What kinds of evidence do scientists use to reconstruct prehistoric landscapes?

    This session meets at Cherokee Ranch Headquarters 5036 S. Highway 85.  (about ½ mile south of Sedalia) Once you enter the ranch follow the driveway to parking behind the buildings.
