Course Outcomes
Here are the outcomes for the course:
- Kindergarten Teachers will bring their data for the 4 i-Ready Literacy Tasks (Phoneme Segmentation, Letter Naming Fluency (mixed case), Letter Sound Fluency (mixed case), and Pseudoword Fluency) for their entire classes.
- Kindergarten Teachers will have the opportunity to analyze their data and look for students that are at risk on each of the screeners (i-Ready Literacy Tasks).
Kindergarten Teachers will have the opportunity to determine what next steps are appropriate for continued Tier 1 instruction and intense intervention for students that are at risk. - Kindergarten Teachers will have talking points to share with families for students in their class following the screeners that were given, the results and the plan for next steps for their students.
The other half of the day can be used as a team and with support staff at their schools to make plans for Tier 1 instruction and intense intervention for students that are at risk.
