Course Description

• The School Assessment Coordinator (SAC) Training 25-26 is a professional learning opportunity designed to equip building-level SACs with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to manage state and district assessment responsibilities effectively. This training emphasizes the critical role SACs play in ensuring accurate and ethical test administration, training school staff, and supporting the use of assessment data to inform instruction. Through hands-on practice, collaborative discussions, and real-world scenarios, SACs will build capacity to support school-wide assessment systems aligned with district goals and student learning priorities.

Outcomes

By the end of the session, participants will be able to independently create assessment sessions, add multiple students to a session, and transfer students between sessions in the system, accurately following all procedural guidelines and test security standards.

Success Criteria:

• • Participants can create a new session with correct settings for grade and test type.

  • Participants can add multiple students to a session without errors.

  • Participants can transfer students between sessions while maintaining correct student information and security protocols.

  • Participants demonstrate understanding by completing a guided practice scenario with 100% accuracy.
