Course Description
- This is a mandatory training session delivered by the Douglas County School District Academic Systems Assessment Team to ensure comprehensive compliance and accurate administration of student accommodations for state assessments. Participants will review critical legal protections regarding student data, define the specific roles and general practices required for assessment coordination, and receive detailed updates on accommodations for various state and national assessments. The course emphasizes understanding the differences between accommodations, modifications, and accessibility features to ensure all testing procedures result in valid scores.

Participants will accurately enter accommodations into platforms like EduClimber, submit necessary forms, and coordinate schedules to meet state and national assessment deadlines. -

Participants will ensure accommodations maintain assessment rigor, are routinely practiced in instruction, and are applied to provide all students equitable access to assessments.
