Course Description

• This class is for certified and classified library staff and teachers in our district. 
• The class is required for anyone who did not use the StarLab during the 22/23 school year.
• Type of Course: Blended - Self-paced in Canvas & and in-person training is also required.
  • In-person training:
    • DC Oakes High School - June 7, 2023, 9:00-11:00
    • DC Oakes High School - June 7, 2023, 2:00-4:00
    • DC Oakes High School - Aug. 30, 2023, 4:00-6:00

• Lead Learner (Facilitator): Tracie King
• Hours & Credit Type: 3.5 hrs Relicensure | Staff Development 

Target Audience

• Certified and Classified Library Staff and Teachers who have not used the StarLab during the 22/23 School year.
• Open to Substitute Teachers = Not at this time
• Open to Student Teachers = Yes
• Open to Charter School Staff = Yes

 Timeline Overview

• Start date of course content: Self-paced in Canvas begins April 3, 2023 and will be open until September 29, 2023.
•  In-person training is also required for anyone who has not used the StarLab during the 22/23 School year.

• You will have a basic understanding of how to use the StarLab with your students.
• You will know how to use the online resources that come with the StarLab.
• You will know the safety requirements of using the StarLab.
• You will have a basic understanding of how to set up/pack up the StarLab.
