Digital StarLab Blended Course Training 2026

Course Description

• This class is for certified and classified library staff and teachers in our district. 
• The class is required for anyone who did not use the StarLab during the 25-26 school year or has never used the StarLab.
• Type of Course: Blended - Self-paced in Canvas & and in-person training is also required. 
  • In-person training:
    • There will be a link to a form to sign up for one of the in-person trainings at the end of this course.

Target Audience

• Certified and Classified Library Staff and Teachers who have never used or not used the StarLab during the 25-26 School year.
• Open to Substitute Teachers = Not at this time
• Open to Student Teachers = Yes
• Open to Charter School Staff = Yes

Timeline Overview

• Start date of course content: Self-paced in Canvas begins April 15, 2026 and will be open until September 30, 2026.

Outcomes

• You will have a basic understanding of how to use the StarLab with your students.
• You will know the safety requirements of using the StarLab.
• You will have a basic understanding of how to set up/pack up the StarLab Digital Planitarium.
