Course Description

• This course is designed to be a supplement to the official TS GOLD online modules/courses: 'Introduction to MyTeachingStrategies' and 'Introduction to GOLD' and the TS GOLD Inter Rater Reliability Certification (IRR). This course provides developmentally appropriate, research-based strategies for authentic observation, documentation and assessment in the preschool setting, as well as opportunities to learn how to navigate the GOLD online system. This course is offered in a hybrid face-to-face format with online resources OR as a fully online course. The intended audience is inclusive of any P-3rd grade educators, but is most relevant to preschool special service providers, ECSEs, ECIs and SpEd EAIVs.
