Course Description

  • DCSD's Asynchronous Evaluator Training modules comprise Part I of the statutorily required training for licensed employees who hold a Colorado Principal's License.
    • Any licensed employee who needs to renew their principal's license after August 1, 2024 MUST provide proof of completion of a CDE approved Evaluator Training.
  • Type of Course: Blended

  • Credit(s) and Type: 5 Hours Relicensure Credit

 

Target Audience

  • Licensed employees who hold a Colorado Principal's License.
    • Includes Teachers, PLS, or other non-principal licensed staff who hold a Principal's License.
  • Open to Substitute Teachers = Not at this time
  • Open to Student Teachers = Not at this time
  • Open to Charter School Staff = Yes
    • Charter Certified

  • Start date of course content: Asynchronous
  • End date of course content: Asynchronous
  • Once this Asynchronous Evaluator Training Part I is completed, participants are required to complete DCSD's In Person Evaluator Training Part II (8 hours in person). 
    • Enrollment for Part II is available in Canvas. Currently, only summer dates are open.
