Course Description
- This self-paced online course is intended for any district personnel to get a snapshot about Sources of Strength, a suicide prevention program and wellness model that is currently implemented in 22 of our middle and high schools across the district. This course will take approximately 1 hour to complete and is eligible for relicensure credit.

Target Audience
- DCSD Staff who want to learn about Sources of Strength and support implementation, programming and sustainability and / or utilize the content for self-care
- Open to all DCSD staff
Outcomes
In this online course, you will have an opportunity to achieve the following objectives:
- Participate in a quick overview of the Sources of Strength suicide prevention program and wellness model
- Learn about the background, philosophy and mission (Module 2)
- Reflect on the strength wheel, risk factors and warning signs and breaking the silence & connecting to supports (Module 3)
- Gain an understanding about programming and implementation (Module 4)
- Recieve 1 hour of relicensure credit upon completion of the course
