Course Description
- Adverse and traumatic experiences are widespread and common among kids and adolescents, and for some, these events have led to significant emotional, behavioral, social, and learning challenges that are impacting their daily participation in school. This presentation will provide key information about the impact of trauma on students, interventions staff can implement at the universal, targeted, and intensive levels, and discussions on how staff self-care is critical to successfully supporting students with traumatic histories
