Full course description

Course Description

  • As a district, we continue to deepen our understanding of the adversities experienced by our students, staff, and broader community. We have increased our collective awareness of the signs and impacts of stress, trauma, and systemic challenges, and we recognize how these factors influence learning, behavior, and well-being across our schools. In response, we have taken meaningful steps toward implementing trauma-informed and resilience-focused practices that foster safety, connection, and healing within our classrooms.
This course is designed to build on that foundation. Together, we will examine current research, explore its implications for district and school-level implementation, and engage in practical application through real questions and scenarios brought forward by participants. The goal is to strengthen our shared district mindset while supporting educators in refining their daily practices.
