Course Description

In the CO-TOP (COmprehensive Training Of Paraeducators) Instructional Teamwork Online Course, Paraeducators will focus on building team relationships by learning how to:

- Recognize effective and disruptive characteristics of team communication
- Know the characteristics of effective team functioning
- Identify levels of decision making in teams, schools, and districts
- Recognize own strengths and weaknesses as a team member.

Class Schedule

This class will begin on 1/18/2021 and end on 2/12/2021. This is not a self-paced class but rather a collaborative online learning session where participants will process course material through collaborative online discussions & activities activities. 

Through online collaboration, you will have the opportunity to share with and learn from your colleagues, which is the most powerful part of a face-to-face class and something that we can still do in a digital platform.

Summative Assessments will be due by:  2/12/2021
