• Bear Canyon educators will engage in professional learning around the content area of writing, exploring resources through Wonders, analyzing exemplar writing samples, taking time to plan for an upcoming unit and participating in a differentiated writing breakout session.

• Participants will analyze exemplar writing samples, focusing on student expectations and alignment with curriculum and Colorado Academic Standards
• Participants will deepen understanding and gain clarity around our shared resource of the Wonders writing curriculum, focusing on the “Process Writing” component of the curriculum
• Participants will use exemplars and Wonders curriculum to plan an upcoming unit of writing
• Participants will take part in a differentiated breakout writing session
