• Learners will be able to identify and describe the ways trauma affects student brain development, learning processes, and behavior, allowing for better responses to students’ needs.
• Learners will gain practical strategies to support students with trauma, including classroom management techniques that foster emotional regulation and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Learners will develop skills in building trusting, empathetic relationships with students, especially those impacted by trauma, promoting resilience and academic engagement.
