Course Introduction and Overview 

PLCs (Professional Learning Communities) are critical components of a highly effective school.  In his book, Leading a High-Reliability School, Marzano states "When properly implemented they support teacher professional growth and student achievement".  This course will provide participants with a strong background on the "WHAT" of a PLC and provide a structure to help educators leverage Canvas to support the growth and development of their PLCs.
