Ended Jan 31, 2025
Full course description
Course Description
- All certified ERE staff: Consciously planning for differentiation and implementing accommodations for students is essential practice in all learning environments. From the classroom, to specialists, mental health and specials teachers, differentiation and accommodations should be considerations for students in all learning environments. In this session we will look at the definitions of both differentiation and accommodation, as well as will look at examples of both of these learning components. We will also think through given student scenarios and identify the differentiation and accommodations within these situations. Following building common understanding around these concepts, classroom teachers will think through accommodations and dig into iReady data to plan differentiated instruction for students. Specialists and specials teachers will plan differentiation using Depth and Complexity and will also think through possible student accommodations.
