Course Description

• We will continue on our SRSD journey as we explore the E-edit and R-revise in the POWeR cycle. We will learn about the difference between editing and revising and the components used within each element in SRSD, such as “ARMS” and “CUPS.” Staff will build an understanding that the “magic” happens in the revising stage and that editing is about the “tiny details” in a piece. We will also look at expectations for specific grade levels for each of these two components. Staff will also have time to explore the DCSD writing padlet.
