Course Description
- 'Help for Billy' is a very inspiring, insightful, and practical book for parents and professionals who would like to work in partnership to help ensure the educational success for all the Billys we will encounter in our lifetime who have experienced trauma and are presenting with challenging behaviors in our classrooms. Trauma enters the lives of our children and families daily and in ways never dreamed imaginable. Heather Forbes' book, Help for Billy, provides parents and professionals with a practical and informative team approach to helping students who have and are experiencing trauma to have educational success. Her book presents staff and parents with real life insight and solutions for working with the 'unteachable child' by providing them with practical approaches, effective commonsense strategies, and tools that provide us with hope for the future of all the Billys of the world.
