Full course description

Generative AI, technology that uses modeling to generate high-quality text, images, and other content based on data "training," is already impacting our students and our classrooms, and that influence will only grow as the technology continues to develop, and this technology is changing rapidly. This "course" will serve as a vehicle for teacher engagement in different aspects of the AI "question" and provide multiple opportunities for teachers to earn relicensure credit as we explore the influence of this technology on our school community. This course supports DCSD Strategic Theme #4 Initiative 1 - Create and implement an inclusive, equitable, and comprehensive PK-12+ curriculum aligned to Colorado Academic Standards (including enabling systems), and Initiative 2b - Establish differentiated pathways of continuous professional learning for all staff to systematically support teaching and learning.
