Rock Canyon PD Day February 14, 2025

Course Description

• Our Purpose: To provide professional development opportunities for February 14, 2025, that help teachers feel the feelings they have indicated they want to feel at school:
  • Valued: Recognize individual needs.
  • Supported: Provide resources based on identified needs.
  • Excited: Choice for what speaks to each of us.
  • Respected: Trust that we can identify our own needs.
  • Appreciated: Thank you for all you do for RCHS!
• Lead Learner (Facilitator): Bryan Winkelman
• Credit(s) and Type: Up to 6 Hours Relicensure

• Options:
  • Off-Campus Adventure: Get out there and do some learning! (AM, PM, or full day)
  • Planning Period Swap (with optional On-Campus Adventure): Swap out some planning period observations for work time on February 16.
  • On-Campus Adventure: Tell us what you would like to explore and we'll get to work!

• Important Notes:
  • Work time is not considered professional development. If you are not engaged in learning, please take a personal day.
  • Work on horizontal lane advancement courses cannot be counted for district relicensure here, but is still considered professional development. Make those moves!
  • Participation in virtual district trainings or in-person district trainings in the afternoon will be documented and transcripted separately and not included here.
