Course Description

  • Intended audience:  Licensed teachers and classified educational assistants. This course is an introductory course a way of understanding student behavior by looking beneath the surface. Participants will explore what happens in the brain, why people do what they do, and how behavior is often a response to unmet needs, stress, or connection. This portion of the course invites educators on a journey—guided by reflection and real examples.  (Note: this course is a updated version of the former Behavior 101 course.)
