Course Description

  • DCSD is moving to a new IEP system for the 24-25 school year, named Project SPED. This is the half day training option, where the full new user training will be split between two days. YOU WILL NEED TO ATTEND TRAINING BOTH Days (April 5th and May 3rd) in order to get the complete training and receive credit for the class. Between the two days, you will learn about the student file tab, form types, workflow of forms, alerts, reports, dashboards, and roster management.

Course Outcomes

Here are the outcomes for the course:

  • By the end of the two half-days of training, participants will be able to navigate in Project SPED, understand how to create IEP forms, save, finalize and proceed through the IEP process.
  • Participants will know how to customize their dashboards, calendars, and other features in Project SPED.
