Course Description

  • Using the newly purchased Touch Math curriculum for elementary SSN programs, the Touch Math trainers will teach SSN teachers and EA IVs how to use the multi-sensory approach to focus on the Concrete-Representational-Abstract sequential strategy of learning math concepts. This Touch Math training will provide SSN teams with the knowledge needed to use the curriculum and manipulatives to improve math comprehension and mastery for students with cognitive disabilities and learning differences. Materials will be delivered to elementary school SSN programs the first week of February.
