Course Description
- Adapt Create Learn and Play Basic Switch Toy Adaptation is a training for SSN teachers and related service providers that would like to learn how to adapt toys instead of purchasing pre- adapted toys that cost 3 times the amount of a regular toy. This training will help build capacity by learning a skill that can be used for students with complex communication and motor needs. Participants will improve their understanding of electronics by adapting educational toys for students. Please note to participate in the course, you will be required to purchase 1 plush toy and 1 bubble machine from the amazon list provided. All other adaptation materials (battery interrupter, switch ports, soldering materials) will be provided. Please sign up at least 1 week prior to the course so you will have your materials.
